The Mummy reboot gets a new director

Early this year universal announced that Len Wiseman (Die Hard 4.0, Total Recall, Underworld series) would be directing the (yet another) reboot for The Mummy. Now, it has been revealed that Wiseman will not be directing and have gone to someone else: Mama director Andrés Muschietti.

The rumour going around at the moment is that these Mummy films will be set in modern times instead of the historical set pieces that took place in the original reboots. More news may arrive soon, so come back to check for any updates.
