Earlier this year the release of Marc Forsters Loosely based adaptation of Max Brooks' book "World War Z" was sought out to be a total flop, with reshoots and expensive shooting problems it was going to be a total loss for Paramount. Surprisingly, the film opened to some good reviews and in total made over £500m at the box office; more than Paramounts previous film, Star Trek Into Darkness.
There has recently been an interview with Pitt for Variety, where he stated "We have so many ideas on the table" and "we gotta get the script right before doing anything else". More news may appear in later months, but until then the first film is released soon on DVD and Blu-Ray.
