Bryan Cranston rumoured to play Lex Luthor

Rumour and speculation has circled the World Wide Web recently as it has been passed around that Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston may be playing the power hungry business kingpin Lex Luthor. This rumour has in turn made the geek universe swoon at the thought of Walter White playing the man of steels arch nemesis.

Cranston himself is no stranger to working with DC since he had voiced the character of Commissioner Gordon; this is a character that a lot of people would have preferred to see him play (myself included), but if this rumour is true, the announcement will not be made until the finale of Breaking Bad. The rumour came to be last week when Ben Affleck was cast as Batman for the Superman/Batman crossover film in 2015, but so far this is just a rumour and we will have to be patient to see if there are any announcements in the upcoming weeks.
