There are already three Lance Armstrong biopics in the works at the moment, and Bradley Cooper has already been set to be in Cycle of Lies, but it seems that he has moved on to being in Jay Roach's Red Blooded American. Where he is set to either play the lead role or the role of his cycling partner Tyler Hamilton. The script is being written by Scott Z Burns,who made a large impact with the scripts for both Contagion and Side Effects, and it will be distributed by Warner Bros. Jay Roach may be best known for Austin Powers and Meet The Parents, but he has also made a mark in political films such as the made for TV film Recount.
The third Biopic is one from Stephen Frears with Ben Foster set to play the cyclist, but whether all three films will either get to the screen or even be made at all will remain a mystery.
